Embodied Performance Foundations
An 8-week training programme for executive and leadership coaches
Most coaches spend years developing their cognitive toolkit
Powerful questions. Reframing. Values work. Goal-setting. These are the tools that drew you to coaching and the tools you've built your practice on.
And they work beautifully... when clients have the nervous system capacity to receive them.
But there's a whole layer of the human experience that most coach training never touches.
The body. The nervous system.
The survival responses that run underneath thought and emotion and quietly determine whether your tools are effective or not.
That's what Embodied Performance Foundations teaches.
Not as an add-on to what you already know but as the foundation that makes everything you already know work better.

There’s a moment most experienced coaches recognise.
A high-performing leader sits across from you. You can see they’re really struggling. You ask a powerful question but nothing lands.
You try reframing. They nod, but nothing shifts.
This isn’t a client you can’t help. This is a client whose nervous system is running the show and until that changes, nothing else will.
After this programme, you’ll know exactly what to do in that moment. Not because you’ve added another technique to your toolkit but because you understand what’s actually happening and you have the framework to meet it.

The framework you’ll master
At the heart of Embodied Performance Foundations is a simple but powerful idea: your clients experience pressure through three interconnected systems simultaneously.
The survival system communicates through physical sensations — racing heart, shallow breathing, tension, restlessness.
The feeling system communicates through emotions — anxiety, anger, panic, helplessness.
The thinking system communicates through thoughts — rumination, self-doubt, escape thinking, catastrophising.
When a client is under real pressure, all three systems are affected at the same time. You can’t work with one and ignore the others.
What this gives you is both an assessment lens and a tool selection guide. In any given session, one system will be more accessible than the others.
Knowing which one, and knowing what tools work with each, is the clinical skill that changes everything about how you coach.
You’ll also learn to place every client on a -5 to +5 performance spectrum. At minus three or minus four, a client’s window of regulation has narrowed to the point where even small pressures tip them into overwhelm, and traditional coaching tools simply won’t reach them.
At plus two or plus three, those same tools work beautifully. Knowing where someone is on that spectrum tells you where to start. That’s your point of reference for every client, every session.
And running through everything is the CORE Method, a four-step process that begins not with your client but with you.
How you show up. How you regulate yourself before the session starts.
How you bring a settled presence that your client’s nervous system can orient to. Because co-regulation is real. Your nervous system affects theirs.
That’s where every session starts and it’s the piece most coaching methodologies miss entirely.
What makes this different
Most nervous system training teaches you the science. This teaches you to use it with real clients.
There are programmes that will give you a thorough grounding in neuroscience. There are programmes that will deepen your psychological flexibility skills. There are somatic approaches that teach regulation techniques.
What none of them do is bring it all together into one coherent system, with a clear framework for assessment, a complete toolkit across all three systems, and a method that tells you what to do in any session with any client in any state.
That’s what you’re learning here. And coaches who’ve done this work describe it the same way: it doesn’t replace what they already do, it makes everything they already do land more powerfully, with more clients, more of the time.

You’re a good fit if you:
You’re an experienced executive, leadership, or performance coach (including internal coaches working within organisations)
You recognise that the clients showing up in your practice right now need something your current training doesn’t fully cover
You have coaching experience, genuine curiosity about the nervous system, and clients you know need more than your current tools can reach
You’ve sat with a client and felt your best tools bounce off and wondered what was actually going on and what you were supposed to do about it
This isn’t for you if:
You’re looking for a quick add-on technique rather than a complete framework
You prefer theory without immediate client application
You don’t yet have the coaching experience to build on
What you'll experience across the eight weeks
WEEK 1: The Map
Understanding how stress accumulates, how the window of regulation narrows, and why this changes everything about how you read and respond to clients.
WEEK 2: The Framework
The Three Systems Framework in full — how the survival, feeling, and thinking systems each communicate, and how nervous system regulation and psychological flexibility work together as one integrated approach.
WEEK 3: The Survival System - Bottom Up Tools
Your first body-based toolkit. Grounding, breathwork, and somatic awareness — experienced in your own body and practised with peers before you ever use them with a client.
WEEK 4: The Survival System - Application and the CORE Method
Taking survival system tools into real coaching scenarios. The CORE Method introduced — and the moment coaches realise they've already been doing it.
WEEK 5: The Feeling System - Open Up
Learning to help clients locate emotion in the body, work with it as information, and find the values that live underneath what they're feeling.
WEEK 6: The Thinking System - Do What Matters
Helping clients unhook from the thought patterns keeping them stuck and move toward values-directed action that actually holds.
WEEK 7: Full Integration
Running complete sessions across the full spectrum. Frameworks become instinct. This is the week everything clicks.
WEEK 8: Mastery & Application
Consolidation, reflection, and identity. Who am I as a coach now — and what has genuinely shifted in how I show up?

This is the first time Embodied Performance Foundations has been delivered as a structured programme.
The founding cohort is intentionally small — a maximum of seven coaches — working directly with Andre across eight weeks starting 4th May 2026.
Your experience and feedback will directly shape how the programme develops for future cohorts — you’re not just joining a training, you’re helping build something.

Questions coaches ask before enrolling
Who is this programme for?
Experienced executive, leadership, and performance coaches — including internal coaches working within organisations — who recognise that the clients showing up in their practice right now need something their current training doesn't fully cover. You don't need a clinical background or prior somatic experience. You need coaching experience and genuine curiosity about the nervous system.
How is this different from other neuroscience programmes?
Most neuroscience programmes teach top-down, cognitive approaches — how the brain works, prefrontal cortex optimisation, neural pathways. That's valuable, but it's incomplete. This teaches you both directions: bottom-up regulation through the body when cognitive tools can't get through, and top-down psychological flexibility work when clients have the nervous system capacity for it. The assessment skill — knowing which direction is available right now — is what most programmes never teach.
How is this different from other somatic programmes?
Most somatic programmes teach nervous system regulation and then leave coaches wondering what to do once a client settles. This gives you the complete system — regulation creates the foundation, then a clear framework for moving clients toward values-directed action and peak performance. You won't be asking "now what?" after a client regulates.
Can I use this with corporate clients?
Yes. These are conversational tools that feel completely natural in executive coaching sessions — not bodywork. Everything taught is adapted for coaching conversations, not clinical settings.
How quickly can I apply this?
From week three you'll be using tools with real clients as part of your between-session practice. Most coaches notice a shift in how they read and respond to clients within the first two weeks — before they've even built the full toolkit.
How much time per week?
Approximately 3–4 hours — the 90-minute live session, some preparation beforehand, and your between-session practice with clients. The practice assignments are built around your existing client work, not additional to it.
Do I need prior somatic experience?
No. Everything is introduced from the ground up and adapted for coaching conversations. If you can coach executives, you can learn this.
What if I'm not ICF accredited?
ICF accreditation isn't a requirement. What matters is that you have real coaching experience and are working with — or planning to work with — executives and leaders under pressure.
What support is included?
Weekly 90-minute live sessions with Andre, integrated learning materials, complete workbooks for each system, and community support with the other coaches on the programme. You'll also have 24 months of access to all recordings and materials after the programme ends.
How long is the programme?
Eight weeks, starting 4th May 2026. Weekly 90-minute live sessions, with between-session practice built into your existing client work.
